As a green business, Rick’s joined the King County EnviroStars program in 1998. Along with increasing our recycling and proper disposal of hazardous waste we no longer use solvents. King County awarded Rick’s a grant toward the purchase of a Detergent Parts Washer and we are now recognized by King County as a 5 Star EnviroStar business.

We have MACs ~ Mobile Air Conditioning Society Certified Technicians to comply with the 1990 U.S. EPA Clean Air Act requirements for certification in refrigerant recovery and recycling to protect the environment.
